Leather Care
  • Spot Clean only – if necessary. Wipe over area with a soft, clean damp cloth.
  • Do Not Dry Clean
  • For stubborn marks, please take to a professional Leather Specialist Dry Cleaner – contact us if you need recommendations of where/who.
  • Leather being a natural product softens and stretches with heat/warmth. Sometimes even lightly rubbing over a marked area with clean fingertips, is enough to remove a slight mark.
  • Hang your leather garments and store your leather/suede footwear in an open ventilated space – this will reduce the likelihood of mildew occurring.
  • Whilst durable, leather is also delicate – please avoid rough surfaces or textures near your leather piece.
  • With cow-hide fur, you can spray with a thin layer of hairspray to keep the hair in place and add a layer of protection against the elements
  • These products are made from natural fibres and as a result will age gracefully with you (which is a great thing!). ‘Wear and tear’ is to be eventually expected, hair will become sparse if in constant contact with friction/rubbing, but is a loveable quality of cow-hide making it our material of choice.

Please note that due to Leather being a natural substance, it does occasionally contain blemishes. Different parts of the hide used can appear slightly different between any 2 products made. While we do our best to ensure the best quality and pieces of leather are used in our products, please note this is not always avoidable.
Pre-Orders are when sizes/items aren’t physically in stock at our warehouse and are sold with their arrival usually being a few weeks away as per the specific notes on the item product page.
Pre-Orders get purchased as normal, paying upfront and using the normal checkout procedure, so as when they do arrive in stock we simply ship to you straight away.
Any items purchased on Pre-Order status alongside ‘in stock’ items in the same order, will all be shipped as one package once the Pre-Ordered item/s arrive to us.  If you need your order split up a postage charge will apply – please contact us for details.
Returns Policy
We are always sorry to hear when something doesn’t fit right, or is not as you expected. If this is the case, we do offer Exchanges or Refunds within 14 days of receiving your order.  Sale items are non-refundable, only an exchange or credit voucher will be offered. Any Exchange/Refund return postage/shipping is at the cost of the Customer. And postage costs are non-refundable in the case of a Refund or missing package (where there is evidence by us that the goods were shipped/tracked etc) unfortunately. Requirements that must be met are:
  • Item/s must be in the original, unworn condition – soles of shoes with any wear marks will not be accepted back
  • Item/s must not be washed or altered in any way
  • Original labels and product packaging are still intact
  • An email is sent to us first advising reason for return/exchange, and approval needed prior to posting back
  • The items returning are accompanied by original purchase receipt/email (if given)
  • It is in the best interests of customers if the return postage is trackable, as we are not responsible for any missing or undelivered returns sorry.
Refunds are given for the original value at time of purchase, excluding the shipping cost.
Refunds may take up to 48 hours to process once the goods are received back. Please email for the Return Postage address and advise reason for return.
  • Shipping within Australia is via Australia Post eParcel EXPRESS service and a flat rate of $15 unless over $160 and then it is FREE, requiring signature on delivery.
  • International Shipping is a flat rate of $25 and we post Registered with Australia Post, requiring signature on delivery.  We are not liable for tax or duties charges applied to your package upon entry into your country.  If you have any concerns about this, please email us prior to your order being placed or sent.
  • Your individual post tracking number will be provided within 48 hours of order dispatch and is emailed direct from AusPost
  • We will send your parcel out within 2 business days or up to 3 business days at peak dispatch times
  • Australian orders can expect their delivery to arrive within 1-4 business days from date of order (Metro City QLD areas can often be 1 day)  Shipping to WA is often 3-5 business days.
  • International orders can expect their delivery to arrive within 3-10 business days from date of order.
  • If you have ordered a product on Pre-Order along with a product that is in stock, your items will be shipped together once the Pre-Order product comes in stock. If you need your order split up a postage charge will apply – please contact us for details.

Security Policy
When purchasing from cabin & cove your financial details are passed through a secure Commweb server.
It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

If for some unforeseen reason an order is not able to be fulfilled, cabin & cove will contact the customer within 2 days of the purchase date to discuss the possibility of a replacement style or a refund, any refund will be returned via the payment type originally purchased with.

Standard delivery timeframes are between 3-10 business days; in the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.
